MYKITA Shop | Los Angeles (DTLA)
Specs Collective was recently invited to MYKITA’s Opening event in Downtown Los Angeles to celebrate their 3rd retail store in the United States and their 12th store around the world. The new MYKITA store is located inside the Eastern Columbia Building – a historic landmark that has been around since the 1930s and is specifically known for its clock tower and beautiful architectural design.
Upon entry of the new location it’s apparent that MYKITA spared no expense in the design of this simple yet stunning location. The interior features grey terrazzo flooring, rubber coated bench tops and tempered wood paneling. Each table is custom made out of concrete monoliths from Italy and doubles as storage units to keep the design functional and minimalistic.

The MYKITA | Los Angeles store carries the largest selection available anywhere in the U.S ranging from the classic NO1, NO2, Decades, and LITE Collection as well the highly sought after collaborations with Bernhard Willhelm, Maison Martin Margiela, and Damir Doma. This MYKITA Shop is the only location to offer 1-hour prescription services done in-house. The MYKITA eyeglasses & sunglasses price ranges from $500-$800. MYKITA also provided a sneak peek of the new MYKITA Studio Collection – 3 designs curated by the MYKITA team with complete creative freedom. You can look forward to the official release of the MYKITA Studio Collection in February 2017.
